 
Louis O'Neil Dore
Mr. Dore is a fourth generation Beaufortonian. His family history dates back to the mid 1800's in Beaufort County. He was educated in the public schools of Beaufort County, received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Political Science from Morehouse College, and his Law Degree from the University of Georgia. After graduation from Morehouse, and before entering Law School, he also engaged in graduate studies at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, and the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
Immediately upon graduation from Law School he was admitted to practice before the S.C. State Supreme Court, all of the State inferior Courts, Federal District Court, and the U. S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. He has a broad background of experience as a trial lawyer in the area of Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, Criminal Defense and Domestic Law.
He was a partner with the firm of Moss, Dore Kuhn & McIntyre until 1991 when he organized and became managing partner of Dore Law Firm, P.A., a small family firm which includes his two sons, Anthony Dore and Bertrand Dore. With the vast majority of the trial work divided among other lawyers in the firm he now concentrates in the areas of real estate and real estate development.
Mr. Dore has been involved with a long list of social, civic and political organizations, including chairman of the Beaufort County Democratic Party, and chairman of the South Carolina State Board of Education.
He has earned a reputation as one of the best lawyers in the lowcountry and in the State of South Carolina having successfully tried some of the largest drug cases in the State.
